Urgent - Need Help - Mission Mathivaanan - Humanitarian and a Human Rights Activist

Dear Friends

Mathivaanan is a 30 years old gentle man and an advocate by profession. He practiced law in Saidapet Court for the past 5 years. He is a humanitarian and a human rights activist. Inspite of his limited income, he has helped several poor children to study, as he was the only educated person in his family. He was sick since October 25th 2010 and he was bleeding through his nose and gums.
He did not pay much attention to it and was going through his daily routine. on 7th of November he could not tolerate any more and was admitted to Pallavaram Kamatchi hospital. From there he was moved to Pallikarnai Kamatchi Memorial Hospital for a Scan and was eventually admitted there.
His problems were not diagonised by the physicians there yet. His case history is still a puzzle to the doctors till now. His bone narrow was taken and sent for biopsy . Its results are still awaited, as the preliminaries were non-affirmative.
His blood platelets count was 8000. Where in for any normal human being this count should be 2,00,000. His blood group is thankfully O+ve and Platelets from donors were donated. But unfortunately his counts are yet to increase. For any body such type of treatment for a rarest or unknown disease will be quite unaffordable.
Mathivaanan was less than 30 years old and he was not prepared for any such surprises in his life. Rs. 1.5 lakh was already spent on the first 4 days while he was in ICU. He is still on ventilation and on total Monitor. We expect his total medical expense to be much much higher.
We are praying and trying to give him all the support and assistance, while the physicians are working hard to increase his platelet count.
We need to save his life by all means, by doing this he will do the same for many more human beings in future.
